We have an immediate opening for a
Business Coach
to join our team at the Franchise Support Center in Carmel, IN. This position will advise and support franchise store owners to effectively implement the best practices in their unique market, utilizing available tools and skillset resulting in improved store performance and franchisee satisfaction. We are looking for a high performer and a team player who enjoys working in a fast paced environment. Key Responsibilities 1. Consult with and advise Franchise Store Owners Review information on individual stores to assess changes needed to be made to solve problems, maximize growth and improve business performance. Assist franchise store owners in implementing a customized plan and advising on additional resources for implementing solutions. Contact each assigned franchise store owner with appropriate frequency, to collect or share information, determine the status of the business and provide advice. Document email and phone communication with each assigned franchise store owner. Respond to franchise store owner requests for information within 24 hours. Provide a monthly/quarterly assessment using key metrics to compare store to budget, goal and benchmarks. Provide sound advice, utilizing internal resources as needed to increase profitability on; Store operations, marketing, visual merchandising, product assortment, overall pricing strategy, financial management and succession planning. Conduct on site visits to stores within the assigned territory with appropriate frequency. Teach and support WBU best practices. Communicate with FSC departments to provide feedback on trends and materials. Recommend how materials can be utilized more effectively. 2. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, staying current with WBU Online Learning, reading professional publications, participating in performance organizations in order to capitalize on key
opportunities/trends,
understand new technology and enhance skill set.
3. This position requires approximately 30-40% travel to provide in-field support, including visits to franchise locations and participation in regional meetings and/or conferences for professional development. Out of the area travel and overnight travel should be expected.
We're looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree or 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. We'll also consider an equivalent combination of education and experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in Retail/Small Business, Franchising, and/or Training/HR. You should be a team player with strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and business acumen skills. The ability to prioritize effectively and communicate clearly is essential. The right candidate will be customer-focused and have the ability to build strong collaborative relationships.
This is a full-time position, and the work days are Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. This position requires approximately 30-40% travel to provide in-field support, including visits to franchise locations and participation in regional meetings and/or conferences for professional development. Attendance and participation at our annual conference is required. Out of the area travel and overnight travel should be expected.This position is based in Carmel, IN, with possibility of being hybrid or remote but not gauranteed.
