This is an exciting time to contribute to an important program with lasting impactful results. Leidos is currently looking to add a Software Engineer (SWE-3) to a growing task. Tasks will include new design and prototyping within a fast-paced Agile team structure. Leidos is seeking a driven and experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to support a high-stakes, mission-critical program. In this role, you'll help architect, develop, and integrate software solutions that shape national security and drive meaningful innovation. Sign-on Bonus: $25,000 Primary Responsibilities: Design, develop, and enhance secure software applications and systems Integrate new software into evolving operational environments Analyze user needs to craft efficient and scalable solutions Debug and optimize existing software for performance and reliability Implement complex algorithms that meet rigorous technical standards Create and maintain system documentation and technical reports Collaborate in Agile Scrum teams to deliver rapid, high-quality releases Basic Qualifications: 20+ years of software engineering experience on comparable programs Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph Preferred Qualifications: Proficient in Java for backend development Strong knowledge of Git, Linux, Jira, Eclipse, and Confluence Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) Proven ability to lead technical efforts and ensure code quality Pay Range: $148,850.00 - $269,075.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
