Our client is seeking a General Shop Laborer to join their team. As a General Shop Laborer, you will be part of the production team supporting various assembly operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to follow directions, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization. If you have labor, assembler, assembly, production, shop experience, you are encouraged to apply! Job Title: General Shop Laborer Location: Hanover, PA Pay Range: $16 to $17 Shift: 1st shift and 2nd shift 10% shift differential on 2nd shift What's the Job? Operate a wide variety of hand and power tools. Follow directions to operate machinery, hold or supply materials and tools, and load or unload items on machinery and assembly lines. Assist with the assembly of metal fabricated parts on assembly lines. Maintain a clean manufacturing area free from debris and dirt, and organize tools as assigned. Perform miscellaneous jobs at the plant as needed, including potential forklift operation when required. What's Needed? Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions. Responsible handling of materials and equipment. Basic arithmetic skills as needed.
