They are seeking a Senior Application Engineer who will be responsible for the design, development, and support of software related to Case Management Services, while also managing multiple development projects and mentoring junior team members. Responsibilities: • Analyze business requirements to build, unit test and implement solutions • Complete application development tasks as assigned and communicate roadblocks • Follow software development standards and best practices during all phases of planning and execution • Actively participate in application design sessions • Has the ability to understand underlying infrastructure and how to design to applications to take advantage of it • Has the ability to work in a high-paced, collaborative environment, following agile project management methodology, and to use related tools such as continuous integration, release management, and work tracking • Is eager to learn our technology and business stacks as well as demonstrate an ongoing dedication to innovating on emerging technologies and trends • Practices and adheres to the 'Code of Conduct' philosophy and 'Mission and Value Statement'. • Ensure quality in the definition and development of product software specifications utilizing best practices and processes • Responsible for the full life-cycle process from design to development, testing, product release and maintenance. • Responsible for the development and utilization of metrics to measure productivity and effective operational processes. • Responsible creation of a personal development plan focused on leadership and technical acumen. • May be required to manage vendor team members as part of project work. • Assist in implementing and refining a successful product development process, including identification of key decision points, decision-making matrices highlighting risks/benefits associated with critical decision options, and application of appropriate portfolio management principles Qualifications: Required: • Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs • Large enterprise application deployment experience from design through support • Hands on experience with system integration (API design/build, data conversion) • Experience troubleshooting end user access and data issues in large corporate environment • Ability to work with non-technical end users to resolve issues through in person, phone, email or web conference • Experience building and supporting enterprise applications in Azure using services such as Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, and Azure Static Web Sites • 5+ years Preferred: • Clinical case management • Leading large, multi-functional teams with a mix of employee, vendor partner and contract resources • Bachelor or Master Degree in computer science or information management or relevant work experience Company: HCA Healthcare provides medical education and healthcare services in locally managed facilities.
