Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist/CNC Operator to join our team in Smoketown, PA. This position involves operating a variety of mills and lathes, primarily using HAAS CNC machines, to drill, cut, and grind aluminum parts manufactured in our foundry. We are open to candidates with entry-level experience, provided they have relevant schooling or a year of experience. Solid general machine operation or automotive experience will be considered. Candidates should be mechanically inclined and eager to learn and train. Responsibilities
Operate a variety of CNC mills and lathes to manufacture aluminum parts. Use mills to drill, cut, and grind aluminum parts. Start with a drill press role to become familiar with different machines. Ensure measurements fall within customer specifications by reading blueprints and shop orders. Read and interpret measuring devices such as micrometers, tape measures, and calipers. Run manual mills and drill press as needed. Essential Skills
Proficiency in CNC machining. Attention to detail. Experience with mills and lathes. Ability to read blueprints and precise measuring tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications

You will work in a separate building within an aluminum foundry where parts are finished. The environment includes machine shop, grinding, and paint/powder coat areas. Typical hours are from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with potential for overtime based on daily workload. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Smoketown, Pennsylvania. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
