We are currently seeking a Partner to join our Commercial Real Estate division.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned legal professional in commercial real estate transactions to contribute to our firm’s growth and success.
The individual will be responsible for managing a broad spectrum of commercial real estate matters, including leasing, investment, development, purchase and sale transactions, HUD-insured financings, 1031 exchanges, and more.
You would be expected to bring a small book of business with you.
Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leases, and financing documents. Provide expert advice on property management, leasing, acquisition, disposition, and financing of commercial real estate. Conduct due diligence investigations and manage all aspects of closing transactions. Handle HUD-insured financings and 1031 exchanges. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their legal needs and business objectives are met. Collaborate with other legal professionals within the firm to ensure a comprehensive legal service delivery. Keep abreast of laws, regulations, and industry trends related to commercial real estate to provide accurate and up-to-date advice to clients. Contribute to the firm's business development efforts, including participating in industry events and networking opportunities.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the North Carolina Bar. 8+ years of experience in commercial real estate law Proven track record of handling complex commercial real estate transactions. Exceptional negotiation and communication skills. Ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice. Portable book of business
