Qualifications: Proficiency and accuracy in general office skills and bookkeeping. Other qualifications as set by the Gadsden City Board of Education. Employment: Twelve months Status: Non-Exempt Reports To: Federal Programs Director Job Goals: Maintain high standards in the workplace; be professional, and efficient in job responsibilities. Handle bookkeeping procedures for federal programs. McKinney Vento, State and Federal Nurses, OSR- Pre-K4 Assists Administrative Assistant of federal programs with clerical duties Assist with maintaining records for schoolwide budgets, grants, and federal programs on computer Communicates with principals and school secretaries concerning purchase orders and budget issues Assists Director of Instructional Services/Federal Programs with any procedures required or needed to enhance the federal programs Assist with budgets for newly written grants Keeps abreast of federal program changes Attends state meetings for fiscal updates Responsible for all Federal Programs field trips, OSR field trips, and summer camp field trips. This includes review of calculations, source funding, submission for approval, creation of purchase orders, and payment expenses. Preparation and Maintenance of Time and Effort database. Backup person for the Federal Programs Administrative Assistant. Prepare and edit Strategy Maps for Title I schools based on ACIP. Assist with 21st CCLC budgets Handle all monthly and mid-month payroll and payroll submissions. Assist with all Purchase Orders associated with the Federal Programs Department (both Title and Non-Title funds). Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Personnel.
