2nd Shift CNC Swiss Setup/OperatorDepartment: Swiss MachiningEmployment Type: Full TimeLocation: Slabe Machine ProductsCompensation: $28.00 - $30.00 / hourDescriptionSlabe Machine is looking for Swiss Machine Operators forour 2nd shift. 2nd shift runs Monday through Thursday 4:30 pm to 2:30 am! Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off! 1st shift runs Monday through Friday 6:45 am to 3:15 pm.Job shop experience is desired. Exotic alloy experience preferred. Must operate Citizen Swiss, read prints & use hand-held measuring devices. Must be able to change tools, make offsets, complete required paperwork, work in a team environment, and work without direct supervision to complete required duties. The ability to set up is helpful, not required. Very clean & safe conditions. All tools provided. Key ResponsibilitiesSet up machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to start a production cycleControl and adjust machine settings (e.g., speed)Feed raw materials or parts to semi-automated machinesInspect parts with precision and measuring toolsTest operation of machines periodicallyFix issues that might occur during the shiftCheck output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flawsKeep records of approved and defective units or final productsMaintain activity logsSkills Knowledge and ExpertiseProven experience as a Swiss Machine operator (Citizen Swiss)Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer, etc.)Understanding and interpreting GD&T CodeUnderstanding of production proceduresAdherence to health and safety regulations (e.g., constant use of protective gear)Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manualsAnalytical skillsAttention to detailTeamwork and communication skillsPhysical stamina and strengthHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plusBenefits401(k) with a company match of 100% up to 6% of your check.
