EVS Housekeeper Opportunity
Join the Medical City Lewisville family! We are looking for an enthusiastic EVS Housekeeper to help us reach our goals. Our Environmental Services Associates are on the front lines of preventing the spread of infections in the hospital. In this role, EVS colleagues have important contact with patients and clinical staff every day and use specialized janitorial tools and techniques to promote a healing environment. What you will do in this role: Use products, equipment, and protective gear to clean and disinfect patient rooms, offices, rest rooms, and other public spaces. Keep all equipment in good working condition. Remove trash, dirty linen, and sharp containers following standard procedures in the safe disposal of infectious and hazardous waste. What qualifications you will need: Previous hospital experience required Prior EVS experience preferred Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in English Medical City Lewisville is a full-service 190+ bed medical and surgical facility. We offer a broad spectrum of care to the communities of southern Denton County. Our patient tower has two floors dedicated to women's services. We have a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Medical City Lewisville is a Level III Trauma Center and a Primary Stroke Center. Excellent customer service and patient safety are our top priorities. We have over 360 physicians and 800 healthcare associates. We offer a supportive environment, advanced technologies, and innovative medicines.
