About the Role:
Hanover Foods is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable
Shipping and Receiving Clerk
to join our 2nd shift freezer team. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records, processing shipments and receiving, and ensuring that documentation is handled correctly and in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities: Perform BPCS and audit functions to ensure accurate tracking of: Storage inventories Shipments and receivings Miscellaneous transactions and cycle counts
Greet and check in/out drivers, assign doors Verify incoming shipments against invoices Print and review bill of lading Maintain accurate inventory files and records Support monthly and physical inventory processes Maintain a clean and safe work area Follow all safety protocols, including GMPs, HACCP, and plant security standards Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent Knowledge of inventory procedures and the BPCS system Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Consistent and reliable attendance record Ability to lift to 50 lbs., bend, stretch, stand, and walk throughout the shift Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in inventory control or shipping/receiving Experience with Kuebix or similar logistics systems Strong attention to detail and data accuracy Work Environment: Freezer environment with exposure to extreme cold on some occasions Regular lifting, reaching, and handling of materials Position is classified as
