Job DescriptionPosition Title: CNC Machinist & OperatorsLocation: Dallas, NC 28034Hire Type: Direct HireHours:2nd shift: 2:55PM-11:25PM - Monday - Friday,3rd shift: 10PM-6:30AM - Sunday - Thursday (Friday morning). with a 10% shift differential.We are looking for a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you will set up and operate CNC machines to carry out various tasks, including drilling, grinding, and milling. You'll be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints to understand project specifications and ensuring smooth and efficient machine operations.Key Responsibilities:Set up and operate CNC machines for tasks like drilling, grinding, milling, and more.Read and interpret blueprints to ensure project specifications are met.Monitor machine operations to maintain efficiency and accuracy.Program CNC machines using CAM software to optimize performance.Inspect finished pieces to confirm they meet quality standards.Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues or malfunctions.Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on CNC machines.Use precision measuring instruments to check the accuracy of workpieces.Collaborate with the engineering team to improve production processes.Fabricate parts as needed to meet production requirements.Qualifications:At least 2 years of experience as a CNC MachinistGood aptitude for math, mechanics and computersCompetence in using precision measuring instrumentsExperience in fabricating parts as per specificationsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExperience with lathe operation preferred, not requiredAbility to program CNC machines preferred, not requiredFamiliarity with Fanuc controls a plus!Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles a plus!
