VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is currently seeking a
Financial Management Analyst
to support our NAVSEA customer located in Washington, DC. This is a
hybrid position
reporting
on-site 3-4 days/week . Responsibilities: Provide direct support to the Business and Finance Principal Assistant Program Manager (PAPM). Track and document financial planning and execution across program task areas. Update and monitor spend plans and budgets with multiple types of appropriations. Review financial data and documentation for compliance with government requirements. Manage multiple tasks and complete them within the time frame specified by the program manager; prepare briefs, status reports, and presentations. Work independently and with cross-functional teams. Communicate with internal and external teams. Support various financial tasks, special projects, data calls, and updating congressional briefs. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance and Accounting. Minimum 4 years of relevant DoD/NAVSEA financial/budget experience and understanding of Navy and DoD financial processes. Experience using Navy financial systems/databases such as NAVSEA ERP, NAVSEA EDC, NEPS, COBRA, and ADVANA. Experience providing client-facing support to Navy/NAVSEA programs. Familiarity with appropriation funding obligations, expenditures, and benchmarks. Understanding of DoD/DoN procedures and policies (e.g., DoD 5000 process). Effective writing and communication skills. Experience working in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with MS Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint). Active DoD Secret clearance required. Salary at VISTA is determined by various factors. The projected range for this position is $95,000 to $125,000 annually. This position requires a government security investigation and eligibility for access to classified information.
