Responsibilities
As a Server, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: •Providing food and beverage service to members and guests while maintaining a positive attitude •Demonstrating a complete understanding of menu items and ingredients, advising guests on appropriate combinations of food and drinks when requested, and accommodating reasonable requests and preferences. •Communicating directly with back-of-house staff to ensure that orders are delivered correctly and demonstrating knowledge of specialized diets and allergens as needed •Addressing complaints or issues promptly, and relaying relevant information or complaints directly to the supervisor. •Ensuring that the dining room is properly set up prior to and after the service period and keeping the area clean and neat while meeting. •E member satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: •Proven working experience as a fine dining server, with at least 3+ years of experience. •Excellent knowledge of wine, alcohol, and menu items. •Understanding of food preparation •Timeliness, professionalism, and a positive attitude. •Servsafe certification preferred. •Physical capabilities: standing, walking, and sitting for long periods; using hands to handle or feel and the ability to reach with hands and arms; squatting, bending, twisting, and reaching for items below waist level or above shoulders; the ability to lift, push/pull, carry and/or move up to 50 pounds.
