Description
We are seeking a skilled Python Backend Engineer to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining server-side logic, developing back-end components, connecting the application with third-party web services, and supporting front-end developers by integrating their work with the Python application.
Requirements include demonstrated expertise in Python, with knowledge of Data Engineering & ML domain & training lifecycle being a plus. You should be comfortable analyzing business requirements, identifying gaps, and translating them into technical designs. Adherence to best practices such as agile development, code reviews, continuous integration, and automated testing is essential. Collaboration with project managers, UI/UX designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality work on time is expected.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3+ years of extensive backend development experience
- Expertise in architecting and developing backend systems using Python; experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask is preferred
- In-depth knowledge of workflow orchestration systems like Airflow, distributed systems, cloud-native applications, and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Data Engineering & ML domain & training lifecycle
- Experience with large-scale data processing, distributed systems, microservices, caching strategies, and performance optimization
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex technical challenges
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP
- Master's or Ph.D. in a related field
- Previous experience in high-growth tech environments
Compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $171,600 to $302,200, dependent on skills, experience, and location. Apple offers additional benefits such as stock programs, medical and dental coverage, retirement plans, educational reimbursement, and more. This role may also be eligible for bonuses, commissions, or relocation assistance.
