is actively seeking an experienced
CCA Inspector
to join our team in
Oldsmar, FL . This position plays a key role in ensuring quality compliance in support of critical aerospace and defense production. The successful candidate will perform visual inspections on solder and conformal coatings for circuit card assemblies (CCAs) per IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001 standards.
This is a second-shift opportunity with potential overtime on weekends.
Required Skills and Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of prior experience
inspecting
solder connections
on
surface mount (SMT)
and
plated through-hole
components Experience inspecting conformal coating
on printed wiring boards (PWBs) Deep understanding of
IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001
requirements (must be reflected in resume) Ability to read and interpret
drawings, diagrams, parts lists, work instructions, and IPC manuals Highly detail-oriented with strong documentation skills Proficient in using
microscopes
and
measurement tools
(e.g., dial indicators, micrometers, scales) Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and diplomatically across teams Proficient with
personal computers
for data entry and digital inspection records Job Responsibilities:
Perform detailed
visual inspection
of solder joints and conformal coating on CCAs to ensure compliance with industry and internal standards Use
predetermined methods and inspection operations
to validate assemblies against documented specifications Follow
inspection instructions , drawings, and checklists to guide inspection activities Accurately document inspection results and communicate defects with production teams Collaborate with quality and manufacturing staff to address and resolve discrepancies Additional Information:
Shift:
Monday-Thursday, 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM (2nd shift) Overtime:
Required on weekends as needed Medical Exam:
Must pass a post-offer medical evaluation as outlined in the supplier guide Clearance Requirement:
