Role Summary
The Director, Investor Relations role is a critical sales role for the Nada team, as you will be an expert in and advocate of our unique real estate investment products. In this role, you will engage directly with our online real estate investors we source through digital marketing and in-person engagement through targeted events with new and existing investors. You will build relationships with our investor base to educate them on the values of our investment products and how our products can help them achieve their financial goals. You will report directly to the Chief Investment Officer. You are a high-performing, hands-on person with a current Series 7 license and an interest in working with innovative real estate offerings.
Responsibilities
- Play a critical role in “carrying the Nada flag”, sharing your energetic personality and passion for Homeshares products with everyone you connect with;
- Own the entire sales journey from engaging, educating, nurturing and guiding prospective investors to closing their first and subsequent investments in Homeshares products;
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with prospects and existing investors;
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets;
- Report sales performance and provide meaningful insights on investor sentiment to drive strategic sales decisions;
- Create the appropriate sales strategy, framework, and tactics to identify new lead targets, and ultimately, increase conversion;
- Continuously improve Nada’s investor relations outreach strategy, develop campaigns to build/bolster confidence and belief in the Nada brand and strategy, attract leads, and re-captivate and re-engage sidelined/dormant prospects;
- Partner with internal stakeholders to improve marketing and online/app product experiences;
- Analyze and present financial trends, competitor behavior, shareholder issues, and anything else that could impact the business;
- Work with compliance and legal counsel to ensure compliance on regulatory matters;
- Advise and help prepare required period reports; and
- Work closely with Legal, Compliance, Product, Fund Operations, and Finance teams to ensure successful, complete internal cross-collaboration.
- 5+ years of experience in investment sales with a track record of creating positive relationships with the investor community, including high-networth individuals, RIAs, & family offices,
- Current Series 7 license holder;
- Thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a hunger to succeed and make meaningful impact;
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills and past experience in managing external relationships in the equity research and investor community; and
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field.
