Director – Remote
A leading IT and Solutions service provider is seeking a Tax Director to join their team. As the Tax Director, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of the organization's income tax and sales and use tax functions, including compliance, planning, and reporting across federal, state, local, and international jurisdictions. This opportunity will offer up to $200K base and a completely remote schedule.

A leading IT and Solutions service provider is seeking a Tax Director to join their team. As the Tax Director, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of the organization's income tax and sales and use tax functions, including compliance, planning, and reporting across federal, state, local, and international jurisdictions. This opportunity will offer up to $200K base and a completely remote schedule.
Responsibilities:

• Manage preparation and filing of federal, state, and local income tax returns (including K-1s)
• Oversee all sales and use tax reporting, remittance, and compliance
• Maintain and approve tax-exempt certificates and registrations
• Ensure compliance with tax payments and reporting obligations
• Support tax audits and research tax issues impacting the company
  

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; tax emphasis preferred
• 7-14 years of experience in income tax and sales tax with a mix of Public and industry experience
• CPA preferred
• Familiarity with AR, AP, or billing is a plus
• Strong knowledge of corporate income tax and sales and use tax regulations
• Proficient in tax research, GAAP, and financial systems
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working under pressure
