Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Position Summary: Meadowview Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a night-shift travel assignment. The successful candidate will perform advanced diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography to assist with the accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients in an acute care setting. Key Responsibilities: Operate CT equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images as ordered by medical providers Confirm patient identity and review clinical history to determine appropriate imaging protocols Position patients accurately and safely for optimal imaging results Administer contrast agents following established protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions Maintain accurate records and complete documentation of procedures within the electronic medical record system Follow radiation safety policies and infection control standards Respond to urgent and emergent scan requests efficiently and effectively Communicate clearly with patients, radiologists, and interdisciplinary teams Qualifications: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography required Valid Kentucky state license or eligibility Minimum of 2 years of recent CT experience, preferably in a hospital or trauma setting BLS certification required Strong attention to detail, technical expertise, and ability to work independently on night shifts Familiarity with PACS and modern imaging equipment Keywords: CT Technologist, Computed Tomography, Diagnostic Imaging, Radiologic Technology, ARRT Certified, Medical Imaging, Acute Care, Radiation Safety, Patient Positioning, Travel Healthcare
