Description
The School of Health Sciences at Lasell University is seeking part-time faculty members for General Physics during the upcoming academic year. The School of Health Sciences offers physics courses to students majoring in Biology, Biochemistry, Exercise Science, Forensic Science, and Health Science.
Current Openings include: General Physics I Lecture:
Mondays & Wednesdays 8:00 -9:15 pm Mondays & Wednesdays 12:30 -1:45 pm
General Physics I Recitation (Discussion Section):
Thursdays 9:30-10:20 am Thursdays 10:00-10:50 am Fridays: 9:30-10:20 am
General Physics I Lab
Tuesdays 3:30 - 5:20 pm Thursdays 3:30 - 5:20 pm Fridays 8:00 - 9:40 am Fridays 10:00 - 11:40 pm Fridays 12:00 - 1:40 pm
All listings are for in-person classes that are already scheduled. Course times cannot be adjusted, as students are already registered for the courses.

Qualifications
Master's degree in physics or related field required, doctorate preferred. Experience teaching physics at the college level. Proficiency in maintaining an organized Canvas page and ability to deliver engaging course material. Provide instruction for all sessions of assigned courses utilizing the college philosophy of connected learning. Provide a syllabus and course outline to students that clearly communicates course learning outcomes. Maintain office hours each week and timely communications with students via email and phone. Keep accurate records of student progress (grades) and complete mid-semester and final grade reports.
