Here you'll interact with various internal and external customers to transform the transportation industry. As an experienced Advance Lead Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for design, testing, application studies, field support, manufacturing support, and innovation on a variety of machine topologies. You will support various business critical initiatives that include hybrid and battery electric vehicles. In this role you will train under experienced engineers on application specifics, work within defined parameters to make decisions and apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity while resolving issues through immediate action or short-term planning. What Do We Want to Know About You?
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field 5+ year of experience with hardware (i.e., electric motors, transformers, etc.) Experience with rotating equipment (alternators, fans, generators, AC motors, DC motors) Good understanding of electromagnetics What About the Physical Demands of the Job?
Able to be in manufacturing, lab and on locomotive environment to support product development. You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
