Job Description: UF Information Technology (UFIT) is currently seeking a professional-level Advanced Systems Administrator to join Infrastructure & Communication Technology (ICT), a unit within UFIT. This position is part of the ICT Collaboration Platforms Services team, which is responsible for administering a hybrid cloud/on-premises environment delivering Microsoft 365 (including Exchange Online, OneDrive, Teams), Exchange, Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Intune, Dropbox, Google Workspace for Education, and Listserv to the UF community. This position is primarily focused on administering Microsoft 365 cloud-based applications and services, Active Directory, and Azure AD. The incumbent will work collaboratively with a team of administrators on the delivery of services, and provide excellent customer service to the UF community. The position will participate in medium to large scale projects affecting the entire University community.
Some key responsibilities and characteristics of this position are: Administer services such as M365 Admin Center, Exchange Online admin center, Defender, Intune, Teams, OneDrive Scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell, Git General Windows Server administration About UF Information Technology Led byVice President and CIO Elias Eldayrie, the eight departments comprising UFIT are: Academic Technology; Applications, Development, and Integrations; Business Center; Customer Experience and Resource Planning; Data Platform and Analytics; Information Security Office; Infrastructure and Communication Technology; and Research Computing.
