The ideal candidate combines strong consulting presence with expert-level Excel and PowerPoint capabilities and thrives in data-heavy environments. This position will engage with stakeholders across Markets, Services, Wealth, Banking, Risk, Finance, and Compliance. This is an ideal opportunity for a former consultant looking to deepen their impact within a large, complex organization. The role offers exposure to high-visibility initiatives and close collaboration with cross-functional leaders, with clear potential for internal mobility into strategy, transformation, or leadership roles.
Key Responsibilities: • Serve as an internal consultant, partnering with business and functional teams to define problems, conduct analysis, and deliver strategic insights • Analyze large, complex data sets using advanced Excel functions (XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, pivot tables, merges, etc.) to uncover trends and opportunities • Develop executive-ready presentations and communication materials using advanced PowerPoint skills • Help teams understand and solve business problems by turning their questions into clear analysis and recommendations • Collaborate across Markets, Services, Wealth, Banking, Risk, Finance, and Compliance to support high-impact projects • Bring a consulting mindset to problem-solving, project planning, and stakeholder engagement
Qualifications: • 3-10 years of experience in a consulting role at a Big 4 firm (e.g., Client, PwC, EY, KPMG) or a leading mid-sized consultancy (e.g., Slalom, West Monroe, Protiviti, Capco, Point B, etc.) • Demonstrated structured thinking and problem-solving approach typical of management consulting training • Deep proficiency in Excel (including XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, pivot tables, and working with large data sets) • Advanced PowerPoint skills with a strong ability to develop compelling, executive-level deliverables • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus • Experience in internal consulting, corporate strategy, or business analytics roles within large organizations • Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical thinking skills • High level of initiative, curiosity, and adaptability with a bias toward action and ownership • Demonstrated experience working with both business and data teams to structure problems and drive outcomes • Proven ability to work independently, handle ambiguity, and manage multiple priorities • Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate their PowerPoint, presentation, and Excel skills as part of the interview process
What This Role Offers: • Visibility and impact: Work directly with business and functional leadership on initiatives that drive organizational change and data-driven decision-making • Career growth: Clear path to internal mobility into strategy, transformation, or leadership roles • Flexibility: Hybrid or remote options may be considered for the right candidate
