Robotics Perception Engineer
Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Robotics Perception Engineer to join our client's growing team and help drive innovation in autonomous mobile robotics. The ideal candidate will have a Masters degree in Robotics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience, along with 4+ years of experience writing production-level code in C++ and Python. This person will lead large-scale technical projects, working with vision-based algorithms and deploying computer vision and machine learning models in real-world applications. Proficiency in ROS2, Docker, GitHub, and containerized software development is essential. The right person should be comfortable working with various imaging modalities and sensor domains, including 2D/3D LiDAR and cameras. They should also have hands-on experience with frameworks like PyTorch, OpenCV, and NumPy. Preferred candidates will bring expertise in segmentation, object detection, cloud computing, and CUDA programming. High level problem solving and communication is a must-have.
