Pharmacy Hours: Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM, 9:00 PM at I-94 Broadway Weekend/Holiday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM I-94 Weekend/Holiday: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM 1-2 holidays per year and occasional weekends are expected. Work may involve rotating between Broadway, Moorhead, and I-94 locations as discussed during the interview. Don’t Have Your Pharmacy Technician License? In North Dakota, you can begin your journey with a Tech-in-Training License while enrolling in Sanford Health's Pharmacy Technician University (PTU). This state-sponsored training program is designed to fulfill North Dakota pharmacy laws and regulations. Through Sanford PTU, you will receive standardized education to meet state requirements, focusing on patient safety, reducing medication errors, and improving overall pharmacy efficiency. Best of all, Sanford covers the program costs! Participants have 12 months to complete PTU and become eligible for their Pharmacy Technician License. Job Summary As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in the pharmacy team. We seek candidates with strong attention to detail, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset. Your responsibilities will include: Conducting the initial review and intake of prescriptions. Accurately filling prescriptions under pharmacist supervision. Operating the register and managing point-of-sale transactions. Preparing and packaging medications for shipping. Dispensing medications for patients admitted to the facility. Qualifications High School diploma or GED is required. In North Dakota, Pharmacy Technicians must register with the ND Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician or Technician in Training before employment. Registration requires enrollment in an ASHP accredited education program and obtaining national certification within the specified timeframes.
