Anaheim, CA
is seeking to hire a
full-time AutoCAD Drafter - Designer
to create technical drawings and plans for our structural engineering projects. The typical schedule for this position is
Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
This drafting engineer position comes with a competitive pay of
$20-$30/hour
based on experience. We offer excellent benefits including
health, vision, dental, a 401(k) plan, 11 paid holidays (including a floating holiday) , and a
generous paid time off (PTO) package.

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN AUTOCAD DRAFTER - DESIGNER
As an AutoCAD Drafter - Designer, you enjoy the best of both the creative and analytical worlds. You combine creativity and spatial relationships with mathematics and analytical thinking to produce designs that are captivating, functional, and innovative. And, AutoCAD gives you the power to bring these structural, architectural, and other general drawings to life!
Throughout each project, you maintain an open dialogue with your team. You meet with your Project Manager to discuss project needs and review design drafts. Based on the feedback you receive, you update designs to better fit the project needs. That way you are sure to complete projects on-time, within scope, within budget, and mistake-free.
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of structural drafting experience
AutoCAD experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
Experience with concrete detailing is required
Experience with tilt-up is a plus
Are you organized and able to handle multiple projects at a time? Can you work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven structural engineering environment? Is accuracy important to you?
