Overview
We are seeking an architectural candidate with 2-3 years of experience with drafting complete construction documents sets for retail/restaurant projects in REVIT.
Salary range: $68-75k.
Job Description: The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for reviewing construction and /or architectural documents for new or existing projects in addition to the following responsibilities
Prepare and develop lay outs and architectural drawings according to client requests Coordinate drawings of the Draftsperson according to the project specifications Utilize REVIT and AUTOCAD and other programs to develop lay out and diagrams with attention to specification details Consult technical handbooks and guidelines and assist in landlord research Ability to interpret and apply state and local code compliances Prepare documents for project authorization and management of bidding processes Maintain accessible hardcopies and electronic files and records of survey office reports Execute site surveys on a need basis Interact with clients on project clarification and other architectural requirements Ensure compliance of all architectural guidelines and standards. Provide architectural support to Project Manager on multiple projects Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Architectural or Construction background Minimum 2-3 years experience as an Assistant Project Architect/Project Coordinator/Job Captain in an architectural firm Ability to interpret construction data, engineering calculations and drawings Proficiency in Revit
and AutoCAD with strong 3D design skills and basic knowledge of Sketch up, Photoshop or Illustrator Strong skillset of Excel, Word and Power point and plus Heavy experience drafting retail/restaurant construction documents required Must be able to work with minimal supervision Must be able to multitask and produce accurate work Must possess strong time management skills and have the ability to handle the pressure of tight deadlines
