The McIntosh Group, a nationally recognized architecture firm, is seeking a full-time Architectural Designer for immediate hire. This role involves managing a variety of client projects—both national and local—across all phases of design and documentation. Job Description
The McIntosh Group, a nationally recognized architecture firm, is seeking a full-time Architectural Designer for immediate hire. This role involves managing a variety of client projects—both national and local—across all phases of design and documentation.
Responsibilities may include:
Developing construction documents and schematic designs Performing project scheduling, due diligence, site analysis, and code research Coordinating with consultants and internal teams to ensure project success Participating in client meetings and traveling as needed for in-person engagement
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an NCARB-accredited program 5+ years of professional experience in architectural design Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required Experience with Photoshop and InDesign is a plus LEED certification a plus Strong rendering skills highly desirable Familiarity with proposals and contract documentation preferred Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
