New Tech Global is seeking an Assembler to work in Mobile-AL 36605.
Pay rate: $18/h to $21/h depending on experience.
Shift: M - F from 6 AM to 2:30 PM. Overtime and weekends as needed.
Job Summary:
The Assembler is responsible for assembling and testing products, and for troubleshooting and resolving issues.
* Assemble components of all Product Lines. Select the correct tools and fixtures.
* Test assembled products. Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products.
* Ensure ability to: read blueprints; identify components; use pertinent hand tools and rework techniques; operate equipment, dimensioning, and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies.
* Create labor records for all transactions.
* Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous.
Morning shifts will always start at 6 AM. Usually, the shifts are 12h. Shifts rotate.
Additional information:
1. Rotating Shifts - 2 weeks of day shift start 6am start then 2 weeks of night shift 6pm start.
2. $2 Shift Differential for Nights and $3 Shift Differential for Night OT.
3. Position is slated to be 6+ months with possibly to transition to FTE but no guarantee.
4. Forklift and Overhead Crane preferred but NOT required.
5. Entry Level.
6. 1 round in person interview (potential 2nd).
7. TWIC required if offer extended and accepted - reimbursable through Expense.
