The Department of Biochemistry at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center invites applications for a
tenure-track faculty position
in
organic chemistry
at the rank of
Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor .
The Department is strongly research-focused with major programs in
synthetic chemistry, chemical biology,
and
drug discovery .
Candidates should hold a
Ph.D. or equivalent
and be engaged in
innovative research
within organic chemistry, including
synthesis, chemical biology,
and
computational studies . Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishment and experience.
UT Southwestern offers
state-of-the-art facilities
and a faculty that includes
four Nobel Laureates
and
sixteen members of the National Academy of Sciences . The Department provides a vibrant research environment, generous start-up support, and opportunities for graduate-level teaching.
