Job Overview The School of Nursing seeks a qualified professional to join the Admissions Team as Assistant Director for all of its programs, both undergraduate and graduate, in-residence and online. The Assistant Director of Admissions assists with all aspects of the admissions processes across all pathways at the Georgetown School of Nursing. In addition to reviewing and rendering decisions on applications, this position also requires representing the School of Nursing at recruitment fairs, forums, and panels, counseling prospective students regarding the admissions process, and developing and implementing strategies for recruiting and yielding prospective students. This position also works on building new recruitment initiatives, including students from historically underrepresented backgrounds. This position requires occasional evening and weekend event responsibilities. Additional duties include, but are not limited to: Assist in the review and rendering of decisions, conducting applicant interviews virtually or in person Represent Georgetown at recruitment fairs and panels (both virtual and in-person), presenting at on-campus and virtual information sessions Work with the Director of Admissions to develop and implement strategies for recruiting, including historically underrepresented students Counsel prospective and admitted students on the School of Nursing admissions process Collaborate with and support the SON Marketing team in the publication of print and online marketing materials, website, email, and social media outreach and marketing Manage other projects to be assigned at the discretion of the Director of Admissions and Associate Dean of Student Affairs Work Interactions The Assistant Director of Admissions reports directly to the Director of Admissions and works under the guidance of other senior leadership, including the Associate Dean of Student Affairs and Assistant VP for Marketing. The Assistant Director will have one direct report, an Admissions Officer. This position works on all aspects of the admissions process, including reviewing applications, conducting applicant interviews, planning and carrying out recruiting events (online and in-person), marketing and outreach to applicants, and assisting the Director of Admissions, Associate Dean of Student Affairs and the Program Director team with other projects as assigned. The position is full-time, hybrid. Requirements and Qualifications Bachelor's degree 5-7 years' experience in areas such as admissions, counseling, recruiting, and/or higher education administration preferred Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation required; must be able to work with various constituencies including prospective students, current students, alumni, faculty, and staff Requires a minimum of 2-3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a higher education or professional services environment, with demonstrated ability to effectively manage, mentor, and develop a team of early career professionals, ensuring productive workflow, professional growth, and cohesive team performance Experience with student information systems or databases, such as Salesforce, preferred, as is familiarity with web development technologies and emerging social media Creative and inclusive problem-solver considering all resources available, stakeholders to involve, and potential ripple effects while strategically focused on the problem trying to be solved An ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information and to work with a wide range of people including applicants, alumni, faculty, staff, and students Familiarity with Microsoft, especially Excel Familiarity with Salesforce, Google Analytics, and other educational application systems that might be deployed by Georgetown University All candidates must demonstrate positive energy, a deep commitment to values-based liberal arts education, and strong communication skills Ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously and respond to ever-changing environments comprised of a diverse group of stakeholders Work Mode Designation This position has been designated as

Pay Range: The projected salary for this position is: $47,586.00 - $87,558.13 Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
