The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. Job Overview: This is a Cardiac Technician role based within the Cardio Thoracic ICU unit for Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center. Located in Livingston, NJ, come join one of the best hospitals in New Jersey! Qualifications: Required: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.) required. Completion of cardio thoracic step down unit technician orientation modules/class/clinical Certifications and Licenses Required: Basic Cardiac Life Support certification Scheduling Requirements: Nights PT Essential Functions: Operates and assists in the monitoring of a patient on the Cardio thoracic Step down Unit. Administers individualized, professional patient care through efficient knowledge and safe practice of cardio thoracic step down unit procedures. Assumes responsibility for patient care and monitoring before, during and after procedures under the direction and supervision of an RN.
