The Department of Construction Management within the College of Computing, Engineering, and Construction is seeking a non-tenure Clinical Assistant Professor. This position will report to Dr. Dan Koo of the Department of Construction Management. Position responsibilities include but are not limited to teaching graduate and undergraduate courses offered by the Department of Construction Management, conducting practical research in the fields related to construction management, department college services, connecting industry and academia, and promoting the CM program for future growth. The candidate must hold a Ph.D. in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field from an accredited university. ABD status is not considered for this position. The candidate must hold a professional license relevant to their construction professional practice. The candidate must demonstrate a record of professional activities, a minimum of 25 years of full-time experience, and provide evidence of teaching experience at the collegiate level for a minimum of five years. Preference is given to applicants with a demonstrated record of high-caliber construction projects, community engagement, and professional services in the Northeast Florida construction industry.
