Description
The Site Supervisor (SS) will provide a variety of support services to our commercial construction teams and other divisions as needed and requested by the Commercial Construction Manager, Project Management Team and Director of Operations. The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all of the activities of a construction site according to project drawings and schedules. Duties include coordinating subcontractors, performing quality control and safety checks and providing on-site direction with a primary focus on civil and electrical work.
The majority of these tasks will be field related, with the potential for some office support work as required. The SS will be responsible for coordinating and/or completing activities related to a construction project on-site, completing work ahead of schedule, within budget and specifications. The duties will vary by season, assignment and project size with varying degrees of responsibility and authority. This is a dynamic role with responsibilities changing daily, with the primary purpose of supporting field operations efficiently and effectively before, during and after construction. This position is based in Massachusetts with primary responsibilities in eastern MA. Occasional projects may be anywhere within ReVision territory.
Essential Job Functions:
Assist with pre-construction site evaluation, mobilization, site layout and construction Understand specifications, blueprints, addendums and change orders Manage and organize any changes to work plan and track accordingly Manage subcontractor scheduling, material delivery and equipment schedules, coordinating with owner or GC of site as necessary Assist with material deliveries, unloading, quality control, and recording Manage job site subcontractors and coordinate subcontractor activities, including technical questions, quality control, and workplace safety Check quality of completed work by subcontractors to ensure all work meets or exceeds ReVision quality standards and contractual specifications Document and maintain daily jobsite progress notes including photos and timelines for installation for ReVision Energy using Procore Support PV project commissioning and testing for solar equipment and Data Acquisition Systems Maintain tidy and organized work sites and assist with waste disposal Recommend best practice improvements for mobilization, installation, quality and safety Support Electric Vehicle Charging infrastructure and Storage projects on an as needed basis All other duties as assigned or identified
Requirements
• 5 years of experience in construction in the field as Assistant Site Super or Superintendent
• Familiarity with cranes, ability to operate forklift
Preferences
• Experience in construction in MA, including Boston and Cape Cod
• Electrical license
• Solar experience
