Key Responsibilities: Apply project management and engineering skills in all phases of projects from conception to closeout. Manage multiple projects and assignments in a timely, safe, and cost-effective manner. Be self-directed and motivated. Interact with project team members and key stakeholders to ensure project scope is clearly defined. Develop decision support packages for assigned projects. Present DSPs to management to obtain approval and funding. Manage and provide direction to engineering contractors. Initiate and participate in management of change reviews. Review design drawings, construction packages, and specifications. Participate in technical reviews with project engineers, engineering firms, and equipment suppliers. Ensure assigned projects comply with all applicable specifications and standards. Collaborate with Project Controls group for scheduling, estimating, cost management, and forecasting. Coordinate with Procurement in the development of contracting plans. Maintain accurate and current project documentation. Provide documentation and support to Operations and Maintenance department. Support construction and commissioning of assigned projects. Work Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited institution required. A minimum of 5 years' experience in refining, petrochemical, or manufacturing industries. Project management experience in a refining or petrochemical plant. Must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time indefinite basis. Have a current and valid TWIC or provide proof within three weeks of offer acceptance. Travel up to 50%. A Driver's License is required. Preferred Qualifications: Ten years or more of experience in the refining, petrochemical, or manufacturing industries. Pay Range: $100000 to $140000 / year Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan. Work Requirements: Option 2: This role is considered an on-site position located in Los Angeles, California. You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours. Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Travel requirements: He/She needs to travel if travel is required by customer.
