Associate
Director of Operational Excellence
for a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer. This position will be responsible for driving cost savings and continuous improvement (CI) strategies across the site, fostering a Lean Six Sigma culture, and expanding operational excellence across departments.This position is
Direct Hire ,
M-F 1st shift . The
pay range is $175,000 - $190,000 (Up to 20% bonus)
depending on experience.

Bachelor's degree
required ; Advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification (preferred) PMP certification preferred Proven track record leading 5+ successful CI projects with documented cost savings Background in GMP environments is a plus Excellent communication and leadership skills Strong project management and cross-functional influence capabilities
What Your Role Will Look Like: The
Associate
Director of Operational Excellence
will lead Lean initiatives, drive strategic improvements, and foster accountability across the site. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends people management, project execution, and CI opportunity discovery.
Lead and manage site-level Lean Six Sigma strategies and CI projects Mentor and coach Green Belts, Black Belts, and other team members Manage a small team, along with supporting supervisors on specific initiatives Conduct behavioral assessments and identify efficiency opportunities on the floor Influence cross-functional teams without direct authority Oversee execution of Rapid Improvement Events and project pipelines Deliver executive-level reports with risk and ROI analysis Help drive a CI culture through training, coaching, and change management Short term: Tackle existing CI opportunities upon start Long term: Expand CI impact across departments and eventually across sites
