Cybersecurity Systems Analyst, Associate
to work at
Fort Liberty . U.S. Citizenship and an active TS/SCI DoD Security Clearance are required. The role involves assessment and authorization coordination, advising on Risk Management Framework (RMF), developing Plans of Action and Milestones, assessing network compliance against controls (NIST 800-53), and creating A&A packages. The analyst will perform security evaluations, vulnerability assessments using tools like ACAS and Nessus, and liaise with network administrators to address deficiencies. Knowledge of cyber network defense tools is essential. Responsibilities Track A&A status of SIE governed ISs and ensure documentation is available. Advise stakeholders on cybersecurity requirements. Provide RMF expertise and assist with its development and execution. Maintain and validate connection approval packages. Develop and review A&A for networks, cloud environments, and systems. Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments, prepare reports for authorization. Enforce connection standards and track compliance. Develop and maintain security documentation and plans. Coordinate with agencies for security and A&A issues. Perform security assessments, patch validation, and develop POA&Ms. Provide cybersecurity mitigation strategies and analytics reports. Qualifications 3+ years of relevant experience or equivalent education. Experience with US Combatant Commands preferred. Background in system administration, networking, identity management, and OS (Windows/Linux). Knowledge of RMF, security tools, and policies (DODI 8510.01, NIST). Excellent communication skills. Education BA/BS Degree required. Certifications IAT Level II required. Clearance Active TS/SCI clearance required. Must be a US Citizen and pass a background check.
