Job Description And Duties
Within the Division of Equipment, (DOE), under the general direction of the Chief, Division of Equipment (DOE), and in consultation with the DOE Chief of Staff, the incumbent performs various responsible and complex duties associated with the Division's program and administrative requirements. The incumbent provides analytical and administrative assistance to the Chief and Division management and evaluates effectiveness, efficiency and economy of operation and identifies and recommends program improvements. Ensures the Division meets proper standards of quality, effectiveness, and timeliness in responding to ongoing special projects and unique assignments. The work requires detailed knowledge of the Department's organizational procedures, policies, and current issues.

Special Requirements
Possession of a valid drivers license is required when operating a state owned or leased vehicle. Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is required.
The SOQ should clearly state your name, Statement of Qualifications, and the position for which you are applying for at the top of the page. The SOQ must be 12-point Arial font, single-spaced, and no more than two pages. Writing that exceeds this page limit will not be scored. Answers should be numbered according to the questions. The SOQ should provide specific details and examples that clearly demonstrate your qualifications. SOQs will be evaluated based on the content and writing ability, using standardized rating criteria. Competitive applicants will be invited to attend an interview. Applicants who do not submit a completed SOQ will not be considered.
