Job Title : Associate Manufacturing Engineer
Reporting To: Group Leader, Mfg. Engineer
Work Schedule: Onsite - Buffalo, NY Moog Industrial Group is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in East Aurora, New York. This is an on-site position reporting to the Group Leader, Manufacturing Engineering.
As an Associate Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting and improving our manufacturing operations through a variety of engineering and process improvement initiatives, including:
Assisting in the development and implementation of manufacturing processes and procedures
Designing concepts for production tools and fixtures
Creating and maintaining process documentation and routings
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives using LEAN principles and methodologies
Assisting with capital equipment selection and installation
Providing daily engineering support to assigned production areas
Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Design Engineering, Quality, and Operations
Analyzing production and quality data to identify opportunities for improvement
Participating in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for production issues
Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
To be considered for an Associate Manufacturing Engineer role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering/Engineering Technology
Associate's degree may be considered with relevant experience
Or five years of relevant manufacturing/machining experience.
Technical Skills: Basic understanding of manufacturing and machining processes
Familiarity with quality control tools and techniques
Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints
Working knowledge of CAD/CAM software for creating visual work instructions and NC programs
Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to work on the production floor as needed

Salary Range Transparency: Buffalo, NY $65,000.00-$80,000.00 Annually

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
