We are committed to achieving excellent health outcomes in rural southwest Alaska, serving nearly 30,000 residents across villages along the Kuskokwim and Yukon rivers. Bethel, the regional hub, hosts the only hospital in the region with a population of approximately 7,000.
Position Summary:
The Audiologist determines the type and degree of hearing impairment and implements habilitation and rehabilitation services for patients.
Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Audiology
Two years of experience
Certificate of clinical competence in audiology or equivalent; current state license
Ability to utilize telemedicine
Shares office assistant responsibilities with the Specialty Clinic
Participates in hiring, training, and evaluating the office assistant in collaboration with the Specialty Clinic Supervisor
Responsible for developing and managing the department budget
