Role Description This role involves working with our corporate audit team, reporting to management, planning budgets and engagements, coordinating with clients, and developing expertise in audit techniques. The focus is on external audits for public and private companies across various industries. Essential Functions Perform audits under U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards. Supervise lower-level associates, coordinate workflow, resolve audit issues, review work papers, and keep engagements on track and within budget. Assist in planning audit or client engagements by preparing time budgets. Draft financial statements and audit complex areas such as debt, derivatives, and unusual transactions. Ensure completeness and accuracy of work papers, including procedures, evidence, and conclusions. Identify key client issues and suggest solutions to improve quality and efficiency. Develop a strong command of GAAP, GAAS, GAGAS, and related audit techniques. Minimum Qualifications At least 2.5 years of public or corporate accounting experience, typically 3+ years. Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or equivalent coursework. CPA preferred or eligible to sit for CPA exams. Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and common audit methodologies. Working Conditions Extended sitting at a computer. Overnight travel may be required. Minimal hazards. Success Factors Multitasking with professionalism. Clear communication skills in English.
