We are currently seeking machine learning and signal processing engineers to tackle diverse problems related to remote sensing applications, including SAR/RF, acoustic, EO/IR, and LIDAR. Our ongoing projects involve detection, tracking, data fusion, and classification, focusing on developing combat identification (CID) algorithms and using synthetic data to enhance these systems. We're looking for a candidate who embodies technical proficiency, leadership, creativity, and a drive for innovation.
This position requires approximately 75% of your work to be conducted on-site to foster closer collaboration, though we do offer flexible in-office hours and the possibility of remote work for specific tasks. Embrace the opportunity to turn image and signal data into meaningful insights!
Primary Responsibilities:
Collaborate within teams to research, design, and develop sensor exploitation systems, such as signal processing and automatic target recognition.
Engage with customers to address challenging mission requirements, innovate new capabilities, and enhance existing systems.
Rapidly implement novel algorithms to overcome complex challenges.
Develop Automatic Target Recognition (ATR) algorithms using Python, MATLAB, C++, and other languages for real-world applications. Utilize state-of-the-art AI/ML tools to boost ATR system performance.
Provide technical leadership and direction for projects and initiatives.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience or a Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Applied Mathematics.
Proficient programming skills in Python and/or C/C++ within Linux environments.
Familiar with code configuration control.
Knowledge of common machine and deep learning frameworks such as Scikit-Learn and PyTorch.
Strong communication skills to convey technical solutions to peers, teammates, and clients.
Active SECRET security clearance or higher, with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in developing Automatic Target Recognition algorithms.
Familiarity with Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and/or Synthetic Aperture Lidar (SAL) data and sensor systems.
Experience in creating computer vision applications.
Knowledge of multi-sensor data fusion techniques.
Position based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, or Beavercreek, Ohio.
Pay Range:
$67,600 - $122,200
The pay range is a general guideline and not a guaranteed salary. Factors considered include job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, and internal equity.
