Job Description
The Shuttle Driver will be responsible for assisting with vehicle movement, giving shuttle rides and performing valet pick-ups and drop offs as well as maintaining the dealership's appearance while delivering exceptional customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Greets all customers entering the service area with a friendly and professional attitude, answers their questions, and directs them to the appropriate person or location.
- Give shuttle rides and perform valet pick-ups and drop offs.
- Determines if customers coming into service have an appointment.
- Records customer's name, VIN, tag number, mileage, and existing vehicle damage (walk around)
- Move and park vehicles in the dealership premises and to maintain flow of traffic.
- Drives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
- Keep the dealership lot, driveways, and sidewalks clean, organized, and presentable.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Retrieve customer vehicles at cashier for pick-up; wait at vehicle for customer, thank customers for their business.
- Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats and I.D. tags in all the vehicles taken in for service.
- Assist with loaner vehicles and keeping the shop clean.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Physically able to drive and move vehicles
- Strong attention to detail to maintain the dealership's professional appearance
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Must be authorized to work in the USA
- Must be willing to undergo pre-employment compliance requirements: Drug testing, background check, MVR.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with shuttle driving and/or valet pickups and drop offs
Additional Information
Compensation (Hourly): $15.00 / hour
Schedule: FULL TIME
- 5 days a week / 2 days off
- Sundays off
- Saturday availability required
