Signature Aviation's Global Infrastructure Operations Team has a great opportunity for a motivated Cloud Engineer to join our team and make significant contributions to secure, build, operate, and maintain enterprise-level, distributed, fault-tolerant, and highly reliable systems. The Cloud Engineer will work with a talented team to manage, deliver, and maintain infrastructure solutions, as well as custom applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate to solve high-priority challenges supporting various custom applications and enterprise systems. Qualifications Minimum Education and/or Experience: 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or a similar role. Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes). Strong understanding of networking, security, and DevOps principles. Additional knowledge and skills: Familiarity with information security frameworks and standards. Knowledge of DevOps automation tools (Terraform, Kubernetes, ARM templates, GitHub, GitHub Actions). Familiarity with API security, container security, and Azure cloud security. Understanding of Azure pricing related to App Service plans, functions, APIs, and associated OS, Networking, DB, Logging, and sizing components. Experience with Azure DevOps Agile/Kanban practices. Familiarity with scripting languages like VBScript, PowerShell. Ability to write, update, and use scripts to automate daily operations. In-depth knowledge of Azure App Services (Web Apps, Container Apps, Function Apps, Service Bus). Working knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). General knowledge of Azure networking, security, IaaS, and PaaS services. Guide Azure services, deployment models, and resource optimization for cost-effectiveness and scalability. Develop and maintain architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and solution roadmaps. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during implementation and post-deployment. Stay current with Azure advancements, emerging technologies, and industry trends. Experience supporting large-scale middleware infrastructure with full SDLC understanding. Experience with project management and workflow tools like Agile, Jira, Azure DevOps. Experience with Linux servers. Ability to troubleshoot issues outside middleware spaces (OS, Network, Database). Experience with ServiceNow and Jira for ticketing and change management. Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in complex environments with a focus on customer service. Automation and Integration: Develop automation solutions for cloud infrastructure, including CI/CD pipelines and system integrations using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps. Security and Compliance: Ensure cloud solutions follow security and compliance best practices, including RBAC and audits. Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize cloud resources for high performance, reliability, and cost efficiency. Collaboration: Work with development, operations, and security teams for seamless cloud service delivery. Troubleshooting: Resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure for minimal downtime. Documentation: Maintain architecture diagrams, solution roadmaps, and operational procedures.
