Title-Data Engineer
Location-Hybrid, Dallas TX or Richmond VA
Duration- 6+ months (with potential for extension)
Interview Mode -Phone and Skype
Minimum Qualifications: • 7+ years with Microsoft SQL Server (2016-2022) in an enterprise-level environment, including setup, security, monitoring, maintenance, and performance tuning • 5+ years Azure SQL, SQL Managed Instance, and SQL Server on Azure Virtual Machines • 5+ years Cloud Platform Engineering experience in an enterprise-level environment • dvanced proficiency with Python, SQL, GitHub, Azure DevOps, Bicep/Terraform, PowerShell is required. Deep understanding and hands on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, and configuration management automation tools is required • 5+ years of DevOps experience with a clear understanding of related tools, structure, and processes working in an Agile/Scrum setting • 3+ years leading the end-to-end design and development of scalable services to be consumed by the enterprise, including monitoring and production support Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with cloud services such as Snowflake, Databricks, Synapse, SQL, CosmosDB, Data Factory, Event Hub, Functions, Batch, Key Vault, Managed Identity, Service Principal, Networking, Active Directory, Log Analytics, Monitoring • Windows and Linux server/systems administration experience is highly desired • zure Administrator certification, Solution Architect, or Databricks Platform Administrator certification, Snowflake SnowPro certification is a strong plus • Familiarity with microservices software architecture • Experience with Azure cost management and forecasting is desired
