Job Summary The BAS Sales Project Manager will manage BAS projects and will play an integral role in the growth of the controls department. The position will report to the Director of Building Automation Systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead project teams to support department and company goals, including financials. Escalate issues on projects in a timely manner. Sell and estimate BAS construction jobs and change orders. Manage the materials and manpower needed to support assigned BAS projects. Estimate costs (materials, equipment, and labor) of BAS projects. Coordinate with other divisions within the organization and schedule work accordingly. Assist in sales calls to prospective clients as required. Manage projects from conceptualization to completion effectively. Facilitate and attend BAS project meetings as required. Participate actively in career-related organizations. Qualifications Minimum of 5+ years of BAS experience. Experience with Automated Logic Controls, Tridium Niagara, and Distech Controls is preferred. Strong analytical and leadership skills. Demonstrated time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple client relationships and prioritize accordingly. In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with HVAC, electrical, building automation/controls, boilers, air conditioning, and/or chillers systems. 3 to 5 years of experience in energy management, building commissioning, and/or systems diagnostics/troubleshooting.
