Facility in Kalamazoo, MI seeking Family Medicine locums coverage Rates: $180/hr Job Details
- Schedule: Monday Friday, 8 AM 5 PM (1-hour lunch)
- EMR System: Epic
- Support Staff: 2 3 mid-levels, MAs, triage nurses, BH consult team
- Patient Volume: 20+ patients per day (fast-paced environment)
- Appointment Duration: 20 minutes per patient
- Patient Demographics: All ages (newborn to geriatric)
- Practice Type: Ambulatory, walk-ins, full-range primary care, after-hospital stay visits
- Some telehealth visits included
- Patient Population: Underserved, all insurance types (Medicaid, Medicare, uninsured)
- Board Certification in Family Medicine (FM) or Internal Medicine (IM) REQUIRED
- Active Michigan (MI) License REQUIRED
- Minimum of 5 years experience REQUIRED (No new grads)
- Comfortable with a fast-paced environment and basic procedures REQUIRED
- Familiarity with EMR systems REQUIRED
- Monday Friday availability REQUIRED
- Interest in Locums or Locums-to-Perm REQUIRED
- Local candidates within driving distance HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Clean background/no malpractice HIGHLY PREFERRED
