Base pay range $145,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yr Description Here at platFlow.ai, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Backend Software Engineer to join our AI-driven healthcare technology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development, particularly within AI applications in healthcare. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems that support our advanced AI healthcare solutions. Responsibilities Develop and maintain backend services using Python, focusing on AI-driven applications. Optimize database performance and manage complex data structures for AI models. Design and implement APIs for seamless integration with AI models and frontend applications. Collaborate with data scientists and AI researchers to integrate machine learning models into production systems. Ensure the security and compliance of healthcare data, adhering to HIPAA regulations. Participate in code reviews, testing, and quality assurance processes. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AI model deployment and backend services. Document development processes, system designs, and architectural decisions. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in backend development using Python. Strong understanding of database management, including SQL and NoSQL databases. Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. Knowledge of healthcare industry standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA). Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience with AI and machine learning applications in healthcare. Knowledge of healthcare applications and electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with frontend technologies such as React or Angular. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $146,854.00 - $400,000.00 per year Benefits Meals Dental insurance Health insurance 401k Schedule: Onsite Monday to Friday. However, this is an intense startup experience. We often work late nights and weekends. Only the really hard core startup engineers should apply.
