We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help scale bioinformatics pipelines and support machine learning workflows in a high-performance cloud environment. This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, infrastructure, and scientific computing.

What You'll Be Doing:
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help scale bioinformatics pipelines and support machine learning workflows in a high-performance cloud environment. This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, infrastructure, and scientific computing.
- Maintain and scale cloud-based data pipelines in production
- Provide DevOps support to ML and research teams
- Administer cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and GPU scheduling (e.g., RunAI)
- Collaborate with bioinformaticians, ML engineers, and scientists on complex data flows
- Build scalable software systems for high-throughput biological data analysis
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong Python skills and Linux proficiency
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker)
- Familiarity with pipeline orchestration tools like Metaflow or Snakemake
- Exposure to big data environments and scalable system design
- Background in bioinformatics or healthtech
- Experience supporting regulated industries (e.g., life sciences)
- Familiarity with R or data visualization in biology
- Python, Docker, AWS
