NOVA Engineering is seeking a
Senior Building Enclosure Consultant (Project Manager)
for our
Kennesaw, GA
location.
Responsibilities will include:
Project management and technical oversight of building envelope, facilities, and roofing projects
Daily client management and correspondence
Building envelope assessments, roofing- façade- waterproofing condition assessment, litigation support, field testing, and distress studies.
Perform and/or direct field investigations, including moisture intrusion, non-destructive testing and fenestration/façade testing.
Assist with design construction documents related to roof replacement, building enclosure refurbishment, glazed assembly replacement, and associated building enclosure remediation work.
Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Education
8+ years building enclosure/roofing consulting experience.
The following certifications are a huge plus: Registered Roof Consultant (RRC), Registered Waterproofing Consultant (RWC), Registered Roof Observer (RRO), Certified Infrared Thermographer (CIT).
Competent in identifying and solving constructability, integration, design, troubleshooting, durability, continuity, structural behavior, thermal property evaluation, sustainability, and maintenance/ operation of building envelopes/roofing systems.
Valid State Driver’s License with clean driving record.
Technically competent in effective communicating with others.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, as report writing is a major part of the position.
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements
Ability to perform work in outdoor temperature extremes
Ability to lift equipment up to 50lbs.
Ability to occasionally overnight travel in and out of state.
Ability to climb ladders.
Ability/certification to operate a mechanical boom lift, or willingness to become certified in operation.
