CLASSIFICATION: School Bus Operator (Former Adam Taylor Run)
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant must possess a high school diploma or GED and must complete all state requirements for a bus operator.
JOB DESCRIPTION: School bus daily assignment as follows: ( subject to change to meet the needs of the students, the Director of Transportation may adjust the bus route as needed )
In the event that two buses are not needed for the transportation of students from Green Bank to and from PCHS, that part of the route (morning and/or evening) will be dispensed until the need would arise again, then the second bus would be a requirement of this route once again.
Morning Run: Morning Run: Beginning at PCHS, follow Warrior Way to Rt. 28 turning right and travel to Laurel Run Road. Enter Laurel Run and travel to Cloverlick Road to Cloverlick, following River Road and turning at end of River Road, coming back out and turning right in to Stoney Bottom at top of Cold Run Road, to Rt. 66, cross over to the Gum Road, travel Gum Road to Back Mountain Road, turn right to Cass. Leave Cass, traveling on to GBEMS. Pick up high school students at GBEMS, return to Rt 92/28 turning right and proceed to PCHS via Rt 92/28 to Rt 28 picking up high school students as necessary on Rt 92/28 and Rt 28. Afternoon Run: Reverse of Morning Run
Snow Route: Morning Run: Students will meet the bus at the Cass Fire Hall. This includes students from the lower part of Back Mountain Road. The bus will travel out of Cass and stay on Rt 92N, stopping if students need to be picked up. May pick up students that other buses cannot. Afternoon Run: Reverse of Morning Run
SALARY: Based on experience and education level per Pocahontas County Schools salary schedule. See

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Effective for the 2025-2026 school year. Term of employment is 200 days and shall be 200 days each year thereafter.
